How to Start a Session

Ready to analyze your data? Here's how to set up your first project in DecisionX GREEN:

Step 1: Create a new project

1. Click Projects in the left sidebar.
2. Click the Create a new project card.
3. The "Select Sources" window opens automatically.

Step 2: Upload your data

You have four ways to add data:

Direct source (fastest way)

1. Click Upload files under "Direct source."
2. Drag and drop your file into the upload area, or click Upload to browse your computer.
3. Supported file types: PDF, CSV, XLSX, XLS
4. Wait while GREEN processes your file (you'll see "Processing..." below the filename).

Connect apps & services

1. Click Discover apps to connect tools like Salesforce, Google Sheets, or your CRM.
2. Follow the prompts to authenticate and select your data.

Fetch from a link

1. Click Add a URL to pull data directly from a web source.
2. Paste the link and click to fetch.

BigQuery connector

1. Click Integrate to connect your BigQuery database.
2. Follow the setup steps to authorize access.

Step 3: Select your sources

1. Once your file finishes processing, check the box next to it.
2. To add more sources, repeat Step 2.
3. Click Select all sources if you want to work with everything you've uploaded.
4. Use the search bar to find specific files if you have many sources.

Step 4: Start asking questions

1. Your selected sources appear at the bottom of the chat (you'll see "1 sources" or "2 sources," etc.).
2. Type your question in the Ask me anything... box at the bottom.
3. Click Send or press Enter.
4. GREEN analyzes your data and shows you the answer. The "Thinking" indicator appears while it works on your query.

Example questions to try:

• "Show me total revenue by region."
• "What's our customer churn rate this quarter?"
• "Which products have the highest return rate?"

Tips

• You can switch between Chat, Boards, Reports, and Data Brain views in the Studio panel on the right.
• Toggle Reasoning on (top right) to see how GREEN arrived at its answer.
• All your recent sessions save automatically in the left sidebar under "Recent Sessions."
